About Platinum

We'd rather do it right than do it twice.

Owner-operated, based in Northwest Arkansas, and built on one rule that doesn't change: nobody pours until the base is right.

Our story

Concrete first. Everything else grew out of it.

Platinum Concrete & Construction started the way most good concrete companies do: with a finisher who had spent years pouring for other people, had seen where the shortcuts hide, and wanted to run jobs his own way. A base that gets raked instead of compacted. Rebar that never leaves the ground. Joints cut a week late, after the slab has already cracked on its own. The company exists to do those things properly, and most of our work still comes from customers who noticed the difference and told a neighbor.

Patios, driveways, and decorative concrete are the core of what we do. Fencing and sod came later, for a simple reason: a new patio or driveway usually leaves a yard that needs finishing, and customers kept asking if we could handle that too. Now one crew can pour the concrete, set the fence, and lay the grass, and you deal with one person from the first call to the last walk-through.

We're a small company on purpose. The owner is on the job site for every pour, and that's the size we intend to stay.

How we run the company

Four things we don't compromise on.

One estimate, no re-quotes

We measure and price the job on site, in writing, with every line itemized. If the scope doesn't change, neither does the number. Change orders are written up and agreed before the work happens, not discovered on the invoice.

The owner is on every pour

You won't be handed off to a crew you've never met. The person who measured your job and wrote your estimate is the person running the pour, and the one you call if something isn't right.

We say no to work we can't do well

If a job needs an engineer, we'll tell you. If it needs a retaining wall contractor or a drainage specialist first, we'll tell you that too, and give you a name. We'd rather lose a job than pour one we know will fail.

We stand behind the work

If a slab cracks outside a joint, settles, or scales because of something we did, we come back and deal with it. Ask us about it on the site visit and we'll put it in writing on the estimate.

Who you'll deal with

A small crew, and one point of contact.

The owner

Estimates · Every pour

Answers the phone, measures the job, writes the estimate, and runs the pour. If you have a question, this is who you ask.

Concrete crew

Prep · Pour · Finish

Forms, base, steel, and finish work. The same people on every job, so the results look the same from one driveway to the next.

Fence & yard crew

Fencing · Grading · Sod

Sets posts while the concrete cures and lays sod last, so nothing drives over the new grass.

You

Walk-through · Sign-off

We don't consider a job finished until you've walked it with us and you're satisfied with what you see.

Credentials

The paperwork behind the promises.

Licensed in Arkansas

Licensed for residential concrete and construction work in the state of Arkansas. License number available on request and on every estimate.

Insured

General liability insurance on every job. A certificate of insurance is available on request before we start.

Utilities located before we dig

Arkansas One Call is contacted before every excavation and every fence post. No exceptions, even for a small patio.

Careers

We're hiring finishers and laborers.

If you've got experience on a concrete crew and you take the work seriously, we'd like to talk. If you don't have experience yet but you show up on time and want to learn a trade, we'd like to talk to you too.

  • Paid weekly

Fair pay for the work, on time, every week.

  • Learn the whole trade

Concrete, fencing, and sod. You'll learn all of it, not just one job.

  • Home every night

We work Northwest Arkansas. No out-of-state travel, no weeks away.
